horrible mine was sloppy and fast, i would have rather had a slow kiss

A French kiss just means a kiss where your tongues are in each other's mouths. For example, the famous MTV Music Awards kiss between Madonna and Britney Spears (I think it was MTV), you could see tongue, that makes it a French kiss. It doesn't have to be gross and sloppy at all. If you do it slowly, and right, it feels very good. If you put your tongue in your partner's mouth, it means you are Frenching your partner - if your partner puts it in yours, they are Frenching you.
That's all there is to it. Tongue in mouth while kissing = French kissing. You don't have to go crazy and try to like reach into the tonsils, LOL. I was kinda grossed out by mine. We were standing on my friend's front lawn and he shoved his huge tongue down my throat and I was so grossed out. I thought I would never kiss again but obviously I did... As it turns out, he was a terrible kisser, the others were great!
