hi everyone.i'm considering enrollment for a bacherlors degree in engineering.which engineering fields are presently marketable(likely to be in 5-15)years,rewarding(ur personal opinion and why),exciting and have a good pay package(u.s. or u.k).thanking u all in advance

Nuclear looks like it will be making a resurgence in the very near future. There is a huge group of Nuclear Engineers that will be retiring in the next 5 to 10 years and they will be needing fresh blood to replenish the ranks.

Personally I'm in Software Engineering which is on the way back up right now. But Mechanical and Civil are always in demand, no matter how far in the future.

Stay far, far away from the computer engineering field. People are leaving that industry in droves because even pre-teens can fix computer problems. As computers become more and more user friendly, you will become more and more unnecessary.

Stick to electrical, mechanical... pretty much any of the others.
