Racism is still existing, and I don't believe that it will ever go away. We - together, can make it better individually to contribute to the group as a whole. I personally don't have a problem with any race or any color or any background. I love different people, and different cultures.
I watched two very interesting documentaries on Discovery Channel last night. The first was on the gang MS-13. They are wide spread across 33 states, and they are well known internationally. Most to all of the members are foreign, or have foreign backgrounds. They first formed because when they arrived in America they felt a wave of prejudice and judging, so they formed a gang to "fight back."
The second show was based on high security prisons and what goes on inside the walls. It was based on a prison in California, where there was A-Block, B-Block and C-Block. C-Block was for the "hard core" criminals. When everyone enters the prison- especially the yard- they must establish themselves. Within the yard, the two guys that the reporter was interviewing said that it was "off-limits" to mingle with anyone besides your own race. If one of the prisoners was to cross these "racial lines," then they would face a very bad beating- possibly leading to their death. Everything within the prison and yard revolves around race. So leading back to when I first stated that racism will always exist- this is one of my main points.
I would hope that there would be a world one day where racism doesn't exist.... therefore, I believe that we can each try to do our part individually to cut down on or eliminate the racism in our lives to try to decrease the problem at hand.

I hear that! Yes, as long as there are mixed culturess and there is no World Peace, there would be racism. Actually, my cousins in Connecticut say that there has been a lot of racist problems there recently.

Honestly... around here, at least, ive seen more African Americans being racist than white people. African Americans seem to use their ethnicity as an excuse for bad behavior, and to threaten teachers ("are you saying this because i'm black??"). Its completely insane.

All ya gotta do is look to AlQaida, they are racists, They want to murder all of the white folks. Ya can't get more racist than that.
why is it that only the white people get labeled as racist?
All the white folks hate the black folks, and the black folks hate the white folks, all of my folks hate all of your folks, it's as American as apple pie! (Tom Leher)
I'm white, and I'm not racist, I hate everyone.

you've obviously never lived in a black neighborhood, i do and they hate white people, and its VERY obvious,,,,,its common sense that if a race treats you a certain way in general then your not going to be very fond of them
