There arent five punk bands out there today everyone is op rock or pop punk. True punk is is dead. it died with the Ramones and greenday becoming pop punk. Even Rancid is writing poppy songs like... if i fall back down feat good charlotte. But as far as pop punk goes...

Real punk rock is almost impossible to find with today's bands. All that s*** that you hear on the radio that is "punk rock" is just watered down, commercialized crap. Therefore, I cannot recommend any of today's bands to listen to.
