Russel Feingold, Dem. from Wisconsin. As far as I have been able to determine, he is the bravest and most righteous member of the US senate. ( Consider what happened to Senator Paul Wellstone when he bucked the current administration. ) I feel that we live under a corporatocracy and not a true democracy, or even a true representative democracy. The only way to get the funds necessary to run a national campaign is to appeal to the corporate interest that control that kind of money. Only those in favor of protecting and promoting the corporate interests stand a chance of being funded by them. This funding comes through soft money contributions to the Dem. or Rep. National committees that then fund the candidate of their, not your, choice. The two party system has become a one party system with two different but very similar factions. Our government and our major media sources are run to serve corporate interests and corporate interest alone.

Dane Cook. Then when another country does something they shouldn't, he could just give them the SU-FI and they would stop. We wouldn't have to go to war then. Think of all the money and people that would be saved.

Honestly, I'd like to see either Arlen Specter run because I think he would be a great president and Hillary Clinton because I want to see her lose. And Dick Cheney so he can campaign with a shot gun.

I'd like to see a person who still uses his brain and has the well-being of our country and its people run for president.

I'd vote for Russ Feingold. He doesn't just blindly go along with what less principled politicians want to do.

Wesley Clark. I think anyone that took the time to research him would see an honest to God hero. He knows war, and he knows the terrors of war. I think if our current administration knew, and I mean really knew what war was, we wouldn't be in Iraq.
