I felt like that at a certain point in my life. My family was great but I just wasn't happy with my life. I believe more in natural medicine so I didn't want to start taking meds. The best thing I did was really sit down and think about what I could do for myself. Be selfish for awhile and think positive. I wasn't happy with my body so I started going outside and just being active whether it be to read a book or call a friend and lay in the sun. The sun is so powerful and it really helped me be in a better mood. If it's not sunny where you live try tanning. I live in Oregon and the weather gets very depressing, those few moments of warmth and UV really help too. Second, if you enjoy you're family then spend time with them. I finally admitted to them how I was feeling and they helped me out alot. They will always be you're number 1 support system...take advantage of it. And lastly, I changed my diet. I was so amazed at how my attidtude changed by some of the things I ate. Sounds silly, but give it a try. I know you can pull through.

It sounds as though you have a form of depression...depression often causes the feelings of loss hopelessness, lethargic behaviours, excessive sleep and aviodance with the trigger effect. A chemical imbalance can be the cuse but if this is a new sensation it could be as simple as having a low b12 level or low vitamin d in the body resulting in the same reactions. best thing to do is go to a doctor get your blood levels tested and then form there discuss treatment options, sometimes it could be seasonal affect disorder or the idea that everyone would be better off with you not being there but that is not true the grief and aggrivation at the loss of someone's sucidial moments often cause a huge rift in families resulting in blame and anger. This is not the end result you desire as you would not be interested in getting help.

Do you ALWAYS want to die? It is natural to have feelings like that from time to time (regardless of what all those supposedly "happy" people say), but not ALL the time. If these thoughts are constant there are many things you can do to alleviate the pain. Most people will tell you to seek professional help, which usually just means masking drugs to numb the problem. I will tell you a change of scenery and or hard physical or mentally challenging work will do what no drugs can. The results are longer lasting and they are natural.

Despite what idiots like Tom Cruise will tell you, it may be a chemical inbalance of the brain. Things could be going great in you life and you will still feel this way. Tell your doctor about your depression and see about getting prescribed anti-depressants and see if that helps.
Normally you will not feel the effects of an anti-depressant until you have been on them for at least a month. If you do not feel any better see about upping the dose or trying another type of medication.

Do you smoke weed or pop pills or do anything like that at all? If not then i would say you have some sought of chemical inbalancment. I have sufferd from depression before, and its easy to let your mind latch on to negative thought patterns. The mind must be controled cos like you well and trully know every time you try to lift yourself into a good mood your mind says" WHO THE **** YOU TRYING TO KID, YOUR DEPRESSED" suggestions are: exercise, drink lots of water, change your diet,:try to keep your mind preoccupied with the moment, your mind is stupid and just like it plays tricks on you, you can do the same back ITS NOT YOU! (that is the person deep down inside) its your mind. Your mind does foolish things like go over the past , or worrying about the future WHEN IT DOES NOT EVEN EXIST!!!! it has'nt happend yet. We all go through it we get into this confort zone were it is a normal place for us to feel like this, gets some help and come out of that confort zone. All praise to the most high PEACE!

Your feeling of death is because your not using your life, Thoughts of death come when your not giving back to life.
Life is like a flower, you have to plant it, water it, give it sunshine and it will grow.If you don't it withers, become colorless, looks lifeless, looses its petals and disintigrates into the ground.
Your feeling of death is because your not using your life and growing it. Your loosing your bright colors and your pedals are falling one by one, your choking for air and yerning for water.
Volunteer some where and help others less fortunate than you.100% the death feeling will leave. You dont need medication, you need to get motivated.Get a job doing something you love or go to school for something you have always longed to do.Whatever it is get busy. Get a schedule book and fill it to the max with activities that will water your life.
Check this website out http://www.volunteermatch.org/
There are thousands of organizations that need help. There is everything from helping Street Kids to the Red Cross.
You can put your zip code in and they will have hundreds of listings that can us eyour help. pLus you might get job skills out of this. Many people who volunteer find it adds to their resume and helps them get better skill sfor higher paying jobs.
I use to wish I was dead and I hated life. When I told some this they yelled at me and said I was selfish. I was very mad and offended at first but then I realized mabe they were right. So I went and started helping people.
When I started helping others and got myself motivated I never had a death thought again.
Try this before going to a shrink or getting meds. I was on zoloft for 2 years and it only made things worse. I did not have a chemical imbalance, but rather a selfish imbalance. I only thought of me and that is what death thoughts are.
So get out there and get busy. Life is a gift but happiness has to be worked for no matter how good you have it.Some of the poorest people are the happiest.
Many Blessings and get busy
