how should i apply eyeliner and what is the best..... i have maybelline liquid and i love the applicator..... does anyone suggest this?anything else?

try closing one eye and start on the outside of your eyelid and start drawing your line to about the middle of your eyelid you dont need it all the way across.i use a brown covergirl pencil with a white tip at the other end to smooth out your harsh lines.i love it i hope this helps you

That's a good one! Just with your othr hand hold your eye shutand push the eyelashes down and apply! Never curl before applying the liner

I know your problem!!
Liquid eyeliner stinks! Do the other, easier kind and get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. That way its cheaper (99 cents) and you get all colors and it doesn't like drip or anything. I hate the liquid kind!

do you put it on top of your lids or under your eye? If you put it on top liquid takes some getting use to but it stays on the best and longest. If you put it on the bottom use a hard liner. It goes on better.

You should not apply the liner that close to your lash lines. Try to have a little bit of space between the two.

Curl your eyelashes or put mascara on *after* you apply eyeliner.

do you put mascara on first? make sure you do your mascara afterward because it makes it much easier to get the liner right on your lash line. also try applying it with your eye half open it always makes it easier for me to see where im putting it.

pull the outer corner of your eye out slightly until your eye is semi-closed, then apply..for the bottom ylou will just have to deal...apply as close to rim of eye as possible

Try widening ur eyes and then apply its much easier and u will get used to it.

I like that brand too. I find it easier if you curl your lashes first it moves them and sets them away from your lid.
