I heard it's when the Universe is directly open...& if you happen to look at the clock at this time...and you make a "WISH"....it will come true.

Here are some little known facts you forgot to mention: You can't sit there and wait for the time to become 11:11, or it won't work right, and it can be any 11:11, pm, am doesn't matter! It is not really all that about the time, it is the (window) that is opened, this happens twice in a 24hr. period. The (window) is found in the square area right where the two dots are. They say it helps if you gaze in that square while making your wish, remember, you only have 1 minute to do it! After 11:12, it doesn't work! 11:11 is when a (window) to time, the universe, and the (DEAD) opens up and you can either make a wish, or (TALK TO YOUR DEAD LOVED ONES)!!!!! These are little known facts that people have forgotten through time! Supposedly that is when the dead can hear you too! I sometimes talk to my dead father during 11:11. And once I thought I saw his face start to form in the little square where the dots are, but then it turned to 11:12 and the image faded! Scary!!!!!!!!!!

But does the time zone matter? I mean, whenever it's 11 after the hour, it's 11:11 somewhere... And if I see it on a clock that's synchronized with the atomic clock in Colorado, can I expect an extra-special wish to come true? Or can I expect it to arrive faster?

What if I'm stuck on a desert island and I only have a makeshift sundial? Can I mark a special divot in the sand "11:11," and will that count?

What if I'm on Mars, which has a 25-hour day?

Has anyone else figured out the absurdity of this belief yet?

This has been happening to me for many years. My friends in highschool and I always believed in it. That was a time that we use to see on the clock every day without trying. I still see it and still make a wish at that time. Some have come true for long term and some many instantly show themselves. It is a weird thing but if you really believe then it works.

The same people that believe in wishing at 1:23 or the people wishing at 12:00:00 or the people wishing at 12:34:56.

If you wished at 11:11 and it came true, there would be a LOT more people winning the lottery.

I guess we might be luckier in my country since we use military time, we get the oportunity to make a wish twice a day, at 11:11 and 22:22. Actually, I used to do it at 22:22 when I was younger.

I've never heard this before, but I have heard things about the numbers 11:11, though I couldn't say exactly what. I'm gonna give it a try tonight though, thanks! And may all your wishes come true!

I generally make wishes at 7:14.
I think the key is just to make a wish.

I always wish when the hours and seconds are the same (if I notice)...12:12, 10:10 whatever. It can't hurt to try!
