Instead of clicking my comp and then the remote drive and then scrolling until the correct folder comes up, is there a way to set my computer to open that folder directly without making a short cut?

It sounds like your best bet is to use a shortcut. You can reroute the my documents folder there by looking through your Office settings if you want to have that folder automatically open up your remote folder.

Shorcut sounds like the easiest way. Can you map it in Windows Explorer? If not check this web search.

why without making a short cut? u can use shortcut instead of this....
