43 years no formal training undergone on tours & travel but doing it in a small way driving my own cab escorting guiding taking people to pilgrimage wants to become to legally qualified tour guide, escort, driver having 11 years of experience. has generated lot of goodwill. pls help. would like 2 do correspondence course. can speak write good english. knowledge of little french.

Since you have posted your question under Delhi - NCR section, I suggest that you contact Delhi Tourism office at Baba Kharak Singh Marg for suitable guidance and help. I remember having read earlier somewhere that Delhi Administration is conducting part time vocational courses, including tourism, under self-employment scheme.
You may also contact Ministry of Tourism, Central Government, for training under their "Atithi Devo Bhava" Scheme.
