it could have happened anywhere else.... You probably look and behave like a tourist that's why he tried to snatch your purse...

that happens a lot in europe. i think they noticed you werent from there. if you ever travel again, try to have a purse with a long belt that you hang over your left/right shoulder and lay the purse on your right/left hip. the opposite. just so that no one can take it. dont worry about what happened. they didnt plan it. they just pick someone out of a croud and attack them. well i mean steal from them. be careful next time. travel with a buddy.
