Well, it is free, and so are the song downloads. But most of the popular songs which u download are illegal. However, the laws are not very strict, and before they catch you, they'll go and catch the webmaster of limewire.
So go and download. It IS free.
However, if u have got limited download/upload on your Internet, beware. because limewire also uses ur computer to transfer files from others. So u could be 'charged' for exceeding your download/upload limit

lime wire is a sharing website that means that when you download a song you download it from someone else's computer because they have that song and are sharing it with you but there is a good chance you might get a virus.

That is correct. You are not charged because it is stealing. Many bands (such as mine: Dude-a-Thom-ic, http://www.myspace.com/dudeathomic ) are happy to share songs for free, because it is free publicity. For more established artists (and picky new ones, too, I guess), you are taking from them their product. It's no different than going into a department store and putting some jewelry in your purse, then leaving without paying for it.

No, it's free, but it's also illegal to download music, programs, etc. without paying for them. That doesn't stop a lot of people though.

Soulseek. i think of basically approximately each and every thing is on there. I used Frostwire and Soulseek killed it interior the track branch. I pay attention to crap that basically approximately no person else does and Soulseek replace into the only place that had it.

It's free but i don't get why it's illegal when you are just using it listen on your mp3 player at most times. Unless you are selling it or something.
