If you could invent a pair of glasses that would allow you to see abstract things, what would you want to see?

So much of what we do in our adult lives has been influenced by actions from our childhood. We don't always understand the motivation behind decisions people make. We question them and wonder why someone would do something so vastly different from what we would expect from ourselves. Again......we don't always understand their reasoning because we don't always understand their situation.

I would love to have a pair of glasses that would allow me to see back into the childhood days of the person in question. What influences did they have on their lives. What aspects of childhood were missing......leaving holes that can't even be filled today? How did parental influences guide this person? How did friendships or lack there of mold them into who they are? Was there love in their life? Did something make them insecure? Did something traumatize them? Did something sour them from life?

We often dismiss people when they think differently from ourselves. But with these glasses, we could understand so much better and finding solutions would stand before us more readily. Must they be rose colored? I don't feel that is the case... They just need to be clear enough so that all will finally be able to see.

I would want to see peoples possibilities, or maybe their hidden talents, or maybe their dreams....I definitely don't want to see their ugly side that would be scary and I think that I would start to feel depressed!
