So many different answers !!!!
The correct answer is 79577.471545947667884441881686257 to 27 decimal places. Sorry couldn't work it out any more specifically than that.
Basically, take 1000, divide by pi, divide by 2, this gives you the radius. Square that and multiply by pi, this gives you the area as above.

Circumference of circle = 2 x pi * r =1000 m (pi = 22/7 = 3.14)
So r (radius) = 1000 / 2 x pi
Area of circle = pi x r square
= pi x (1000/2 x pi)square
= 1000000/4 x 3.14 sq M
= 79617.83 sq M approx

Divide the circuference by pi. to give the diameter
ie. 1000 divided by 3.14159 = 318.31015.

Divide the diameter by 2 to give the radius = 318.31015 divided by 2 =
159.155.07 then -

Area of circle = pi x radius squared =

3.14159x (159.15507x159.15507) = 79577.53 sq. metres

Remember it is impossible to work out the area of a circle exactly because pi is an approximation.

Circumference = 2 pi r

radius = 1000/ 2 pi
= 159.155m

area = pi r^2

area = 79577.472m^2

The formula for the circumference of a circle is, c = 2pi*r So r = c/2pi. The formula for the realm of a circle is: pi*r^2 so, if we substitute c/2pi in decision to r, we get: pi*(c/2pi)^2. To simplify this we get: pi*c^2/4pi^2. If we now divide proper and bottom through pi we get: c^2/4pi. all of us comprehend that c = 1000m so c^2 = 1000000m^2 so1000000/4pi = 79577.54m^2

that means 2 pi r = 1000m
so r = 1000/ 2 pi
= 1000 x 7 / 22 x 2
=3500 / 22

we need area i.e. pi x r x r = 22/7 x 3500/22 x 3500/22 = 7954545.4545

circumfrence=2*22/7*r where r=radius of circle we know area of circle=22/7*r*r so frm 1 we calculate r as r=c*7/22*2
r=1000*7/2*22=159
now area=22*159*159/7=79454

well firstyou need to know the radius - half of the diameter. Then you square the radius and times by pie.
use a calculator. type in:

r yx 2 x pie. - i cant find the sign for pie on the keyboard!

Circumference is pi (3.14) times the diameter.
Area is pi (3.14) times radius (half of diameter) times radius.

1000 m divided by 3.14 = diameter = 318.47 m
radius = diameter divided by 2 = 159.24 m
radius times radius = 159.24m x 159.24 m = 25,356 square metres
25,356 square metres times pi (3.14) = area = 79,618 square metres.

Circumference is = Pi * D
Area = Pi * r*r
D = 2 r

1000=Pi * D so D = 318.47
318.47 = 2 r
r = 159.23
Area = Pi * 159.23 * 159.23
Area = 79,617.82
