It makes more sense to look at it as there are two types of energy. One that is mass-less and travels at the speed of light. The other is mass and travels at less than the speed of light.

So what is your question exactly?? we all know that matter is found in three different forms solid, liquid, and a gas. Energy is only a state in which atoms are moved.

You forget plasma (99.9999999 % in the universe !!! )
A plasma is a (partly) ionised gas.
So solids and liquids are extremely rare.

Also you have liquid crystals between solids and liquids.
They have long molecules.
