Whats your favorite "type" or "genre" in music and why???

ROCK! cuz... ummmm... You know, this is one of those things that you can't really explain... like how I can't stand country, rap, or dance music and stuff... just can't explain it...

My taste in music is universal, I really do like all kinds of music. Blues, jazz, some country, classical, Soft Rock, Classical Rock, Alternative, Hard Rock, Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, New Age, Atmospheres, all the way back to the '40s big band and swing. It all depends on my mood. Right now I've been in a Billie Holiday mood for the past 2 hours. Later it might be Madonna and then probably some solid gold oldies. I'm so flexible its odd.

i guess i have a few. here they are.
Punk rock- cuz i like "punk" and i luv the sound of rock.
Pop punk
"emo" -i just like some of the artists lyrics and half the time they sing bout real stuff.
Alternative rock- cuz it's like rock but just a lil different its awesome.
Hard rock
Rock- cuz it is like the base of all music isn't it? its great. I like loud stuff.
-and some of the bands that absolutly scream i don't know what genre they would go in but i luv that in each genre they gotta scream a lil you know what im saying i luv it as long as i can scream with them and actually understand words they say which a lot of the time i can its awesome! i luv when artists show emotion and feeling! It makes it better cuz that is real music.

I like all types of music, I don't really have one favorite genre. What I listen to depends on my mood honestly. My CD collection literally ranges from Mozart to Metallica...Phantom of the Opera to Puddle of Mud.

Anything but rock, rap, jazz, or country. Why? To me, rock, rap, and jazz aren't really music, more like twisted variations of music, and country just gets on my nerves. All the twanging and fiddles and western accents is more than I can bear. Must be from being raised in the North East.

I used to only like rock music....Now I love country. I just don't get the way rock music is going.

Umm.. My favorite type of music is.. Screamo, hardcore rock, metal, punk rock, Indie, alternative and Emo! Heh, I like it because it's awesome, and that kind of music relaxes me for some reason, lol..

id have to say punk or heavy metal
b/c who wants to listen to stupid rap or stupid music like that when anyone could do it..even if you had the worst voice...but rock and metal and stuff actually takes tallent!!!! so thats y its the best!!1
also u have to give credit to classical music bc its pretty...lol
