Sure, a woman couldn't possibly mess up any more than the men have already. When a problem arises, men are MUCH more likely to get violent as a way to solve it. Women only get violent as a last resort, and are much more likely to exhaust their diplomatic channels (trying to talk the problem out) before attacking or bombing someone (Margaret Thatcher is the exception that proves the rule). It's worth a try, although I don't really like any of the current female contenders, Hilary is too much of an opportunist, and Condi is just scary.

A woman has run for president. Her name was Victoria Woodhull, and she ran in the late 1800s, before women had the right to vote. That means that men elected her to her post as senator, and later to run for president. So all the women out there saying they wouldn't vote for a woman, we don't need you. And you should thank our predecessors for even getting you the right to vote. If you took abortion out of the picture, the political landscape would look very different. So, a woman's issue is what forms politics these days, a woman for president isn't far behind. Let's keep these discussions going, so they remain at the forefront of American politics. And watch the ladies take over.

Hell no honey! we are having enough trouble with the one we got,and he's not a woman lol.First of all women make up more then half the population of this country and i don't think they would vote for her cause most women don't trust other women, sad but true, they would rather see a man in charge.Second of all women have their periods every month, and are cranky and lose their tempers quick! We can't have a woman stating a war because she don't feel good lol. I don't think you will see a woman president for a 100 years or more, and by then you won't be around ,so who cares lol.And as far as a black president forget it.They are a minority in this country,15 percent,to get white people to vote for a black man he would have to be great almost a god!Don't believe in this **** you see on t.v,about black presidents and women presidents its a joke, grow up! I predict their will be a woman president before a black one.Because black people have been given their chance and blew it! there were black mayors black governors, black police chiefs.dinkens was mayor,he ****** up during the riot, and that black Governor who was smoking pot and using whores lol,What about the president of the ta who's always calling illegal strikes?People don't trust blacks in high office!

If she's right for the job, why not!
We've already got that TV show with the female president... and on that show she is considering a black man for her VP!
Can you say Hillary Clinton?
Sure, they'll be a few jokes about PMS and nuclear launch codes, but a calmer steady hand MIGHT be just what the doctor ordered for this new millenium.
Will the conservatives vote for her? Can she win? Some might vote JUST for women's rights and women's advancement - female solidarity etc. Others will vote for ANYONE else just because she's a woman.
But first thing's first - let's see someone RUN first.

It is possible, but the right candidate would have to come along. Hillary and Condoleezza are both somewhat abrasive to the public, so I doubt either would win (though there is a sizable chance for Hillary to get the democratic nomination). If I woman were to become president, she would have to be charismatic and firm, but not too strong- for some reason voters get turned off to strong women (like hillary and condoleezza).

i don't think that the us is ready for a woman as president but if one was elected i would see what happens and then decide what actions must be done after two years. whether it be to let her finish the term or i move or i ask to have her removed from office.

I think the US is ready for a woman president. It is time to clean up the mess left by the men before her.

Absolutely, should have happened long ago. Women are much more intuitive and insightful, diplomatic and peaceful! That's why we're the better half in relationships ;)
