I am looking for ideas for a company based in the UK that will be selling quality decorative items for the home online. My client wants the website to look a bit old-fashioned, very decadent so we need a name to suit!

Then & Now
The Decorators Paradise
We can't do anything interesting here but type words. So I will try to explain with words what I see in my mind.
A circular "Logo" with "T H E N & N O W" arched across the top. "The Decorators Paradise" in an opposit arch around the bottom. The whole thing on a white background with lots of lacy art work around the edges. A sort of white, fading to lace on the edges. In the center, you will have to help me out. Select two items like an ultramodern end table and a 19Th century lamp setting on it to fill the center of the logo. The lamp and table is offered only as an example, the idea is to display in the center of the logo a sharp contrast between the new and the old. If you love this idea (and there is no guarantee you will) contact me we can swap some Email with me sending some pictures of my vision.
Good luck on your venture.

Your question for a online company name could be as simple as your description; perhaps "QDI Online"
or
Classy Enhancing Possessions / CEP
Quality Ornamental Things / QOT
Class Enhancing Things / CET
Ornamental Things Online / OTO
Quality Decorative Possessions / QDP
Decorative Items Online / DIO
These are just a few brainstorming ideas . . . I hope they help you get started in the right direction. If you could give a better description of what exactly you will be selling and the specific market niche you are looking to corner. These will help too define a proper name for your new venture. Good Luck!
Sincerely

Okay depending on the income bracket of the clientele they are selling to. How about the Gilded Home, Simply Gilded or use the clients first name, last name or and old fashioned name like Adel's Home Fashions; or how about Simple Home Panache! Hope this helps.

Serendipity
It means finding something wonderful by accident. A great word, and it would make a great name for such a company

"Byzantia". I like that. Or how about: "The Old Curiosity Shop".
I should do this for a living!
