when people are drinking they tend to become confused and sentimental.
i wouldn't trust anyone to be a better driver, or a better mathematician, when they were legless.
why should i expect them to be any more honest?

No I dont think true feelings come out when you are drinking because True feelings would only exist in a true and unaltered state of mind.
Yeah it reduces their inhibitions, but that doesnt mean what they say is true. Depends on the person. How much of what drunks say make no sense at all?

ahmmm i don't think so. When drinkin it's just easier to say something cause u r not affraid that much of what will happen after that. But u don't know if it's true or not. And also after that on the other day someone can say that was just drunk and it was not true. Also i think that alcohol is for smart peeps who know what to drink, how to drink, and when to say stop. Also some peeps who are drunk can still think (yep thinkin after alcohol is possible, it's slower but still possible LOL)

I'm am usually very open about things i will say what i think and what i feel but my biggest problem is my true feeling the emotional side of me is only ever seen when i have had a hell of a lot 2 drink.
I never open up when I'm sober but when I'm drunk i can really say how i feel in my heart and not have the fear i usually have when sober

Inhibitions are often loosened with alcohol but I am not sure anyone really releases true feelings. They may in fact be less restricted but true feelings are those of a sober person and not someone under the influence of intoxicants.

Sometimes, it may seem like that because the comments are usually negative, but I don't think that people who drink always mean what comes out of their mouth.

Yes, I think it gives them the courage to say what they really think and feel, I know I do.

I think sometimes. But alot of the time people that are drinking they are just trying to make you feel like **** and they do not really mean it and they regret it in the morning.

well, certainly feelings come out, true or not when a person is under the influence. since perceptions and reality are always individualized, i think the "truth" that comes out while drinking fits one's own reality, which may or may not have any basis in truth.

No. What you see is known as dutch courage, a false hope and feeling, because they are under influence stronger than their normal selves.

yeah i think overall people's true feelings come out when they're drinking. there's that saying "drunken words are sober thoughts." i think to a certain extent that's true. there are also goofy things people say when they're drinking, too. i have a friend that lies thru her teeth when she's drunk. about stupid stuff. but if it's about a certain topic then yeah...i think people say what they are truly feeling when they're drinking.
