I'm new to pro soccer so be patient....It seems to me that the ref for the Ger/Ecu game (about to go to 1/2 time now) isn't calling anything, not that it is necessarily a bad thing just wondering. I saw a guy get and elbow in the face, the goalie got "ran into", and a player get tripped. Do you think maybe after the Ita/US game they are going to call a little different? Or was the stuff I saw legal and it just looked "bad" to me?

He is calling nothing in favor to Ecuador. And he is calling to much in favor of Germany. Refs usually dont call everything because it would stop the game every 2 min, however anything 2 violent or very obvious they will call. The ref is horrible!! he is not fair, and keeps calling in favor of Germany.

Not hearing the whistle every 30 seconds is a welcome change from many of the other games i saw so far.
