Fruit of the Loom is a company which manufactures clothing, particularly underwear.

Fruit of the Loom is somewhat unique with the unconditional guarantee on all the products it sells. The familiar logo with the apple, grapes, currants and leaves is ranked one of the most recognizeable trademarks world wide. The company is a vertically integrated manufacturer.

I guess the closest I've got is a golden raisin or fig. Maybe? But there might be a theory... we all know about Adam and Eve? We know they used leaves to cover the genitalia just like Fruit of the Loom underwear do. I, too, often wondered what the hell was that yellow thing. I think they may be fig leaves or the such.

It is a fig leaf. The "fruits" represent the characters seen in the corporate logo.
