perchance in simple terms say Dad, I try my maximum proper commonplace, and that i elect more effective help from a instructor or someone who can clarify it frivolously. I try this often times to my own daughter and then i realized she is in a form more effective more advantageous than I ever became at her age. I instructed her i presumed she became being challenged yet i did not pick her to cry. i do not realize why Math instructors deliver homestead a lot Math at the same time as they should be doing it there at school the position the professor can help them. perchance in simple terms try the practice issues, those which have the solutions contained in the decrease back, see in the journey that your solutions tournament and take a look into a number of an same variety of issues. that is not any longer common to each and each body yet Math is a few thing that once you spend more effective time persistently it in simple terms CLICKS! And it feels so dang good once you eventually comprehend it and then your like OH WOW How did I no longer GET IT???!!>!>!>!>!>>!??? that is a repetitive element, spend time on my own and with associates on your type over the phone speaking about it. To be instantly ahead, you actually pick Dad to frivolously sit down on the table and clarify it slowly. i imagine that you'll get it. My 13 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old daughter is in 9th grade Math and that is insane the homework they provide her. i don't like it in any respect! She is wide awake until eventually 12 useless night engaged on MATH! perchance do those you comprehend and in undemanding words come to Dad with those that confuse you. Ask him for a 1/2 hour of his time because your instructor runs out of time at school to describe all of it, and that your no longer at school operating in this task so there is not any human being to ask.

I didn't learn to divide until I went to college.

I am still angry that my public school teachers were so bad at teaching me the simple concept of division. My fear of being held back made me secretly conceal my ignorance of division. I got by through cheating and estimating.

In college I realized that division was extremely simple, it's just that because public schools are required to stretch out the lesson plans on these simple subjects, I had forgotten some of the basics as they moved to more advanced topics. Let's also not forget the boredom of their teaching methods.

Now that I am much older, I actually enjoy mathematics.

I've met Ph.Ds who still have the same math anxiety that I used to have. It is a tragedy that we can't do a better job at teaching math skills.

I just happen to be one of those people. I answer the questions because math is a piece of cake to me. Because of it I am going to college in the fall for mechanical drafting, and I am working full time right now working as a mechanical detailer making $22/hour. I'm also only 17 years old, so hows about that for a face rubbing.

Just lighten up, you don't have to rag on people just because they are better at one area than you are.

I am not much for math either- but I wish I was. I don't usually take it too personally that others have a lot of knowledge though. Somebody needs to know- and many people who answer are taking the time to help people who need help- which is very cool.

I am sure you're really good at a lot of things that they aren't good at!

Yes i do hate math because it is the hardest subject in school and i also hate the people who always kno the answers because sometimes you just need to show the teacher that you have some brains in that head of yours that god gave you.

You could love math....you just had bad teachers that didin't know how to explain it or motivate your imagination in such a way that would allow you to see the SPLENDOR. Your real question should be how can you change your feelings to appreciate that many of us do like math and see it in everything we say and do. That might be asking for a bit much but go to Learner.org sign up and watch Sol Solomen's intro to college Algebra .... You'll be surprised what the math experts thinks about you and just let me say that some of the explainations are so wonderful....it brings me to tears to know that some folks can actually teach math and make it interesting.... i can't go on .... please have faith you can reach a point of understanding. BTW wanna cry for JOY about economics???? watch learner.org VoD (video on demand) and the Turner intro to economics....you will applaud yourself for the intuition to search it out. the next great profession, the study of being human. IMHO. peace. ml

I personally do not like math, but I like smart people. It is never a good thing to be mean to those that can fix your computer, cure cancer, and put a spaceship on the moon. Or help with homework, LOL
