Which ones do you think should be added? Nothing inappropriate or dirty please. I think they should add one to salute. So you can say Yes Sir and salute over the IM when someone asks you to do something.

No absolutely not. Italics, bold or underline would be enough, I think. If they ever want to move from pure .txt to including html code, that's exactly what I'd like to see.
I do sometimes use normal ascii emoticons, but I definitely prefer not to.
