I mean songs that aren't exactly in the mainstream or popular, not that no one has literally never heard them before.

Well, you don't mention what genre.

~~~~"Dragostea Din Tei" by a group called O-Zone. The song is in Romanian and when I first heard it, nobody new about it. It has become a lot more popular over the past year thanks to a video made by some guy from New Jersey. You might know it as the "numa numa dance" or whatever. The group has a lot of really good songs.
~~~~"Around the World" and "Dogfight" by a group called Move from Japan. Very upbeat with great bass. Great driving music. Any fans of the hit anime series "Initial D" will agree.
~~~~Any song remade by Richard Cheese. He takes songs from the likes of The Offspring and Limp Bizkit and makes them sound like oldstyle '50's-esque type niteclub music. My mom actually likes these song now because of him.
~~~~"Don't Touch That" by an Arabian rap group called Group X. Basicly a parody to the M.C. Hammer hit "Can't Touch This". Very funny stuff. They have a lot of other funny songs but this is my fave.

Check out Meshell N'Dege Ochello. She's got some ALBUMS that are the bomb, but don't get played in mainstream.
