Snowing is not very common in UK, except for northern Scottish highlands. Latitude wise UK is in high enough latitude, to get lots of snow. But due to the warm current flowing beside its cost, most parts of UK get one or two real snow in a year.

It depends where you are. In scotland, North England, North Wales and Northern Ireland, it does snow quite a bit. London does not see that much snow compared to Brussels for example. Nor does south England and Wales. East Anglia (just north east of London) does see quite a bit of snow.

I lived for 2 years in a place called Aberdeen in UK. Its a city in scotland. And it snowed like hell during christmas. It was a truly white chirstmas
