Is it appropriate for a 14 year old to wear a shirt from Hollister Co. that says MOST VALUABLE PLAYER or will people misinterpret it?

It depends on your moral standards... In today's society, people are so quick to judge others based on their appearance.. You are free to wear what u want. Just know that certain clothes make people assume things about u that might not be true. Besides, whats in a shirt?? Besides cotton lol

yes thats fine! the shirt was made to be a joke type thing no one is going to think youre actually the most valuable player they will think youre wearing a fun shirt

Kids will be kids - I think it is all up to the reader to interpret as they will the true question is how does the 14 year old interpret it. If he thinks it is a sports thing than great let him wear it but if he feels like he is a "pimp daddy" type figure wearing it then I would have to say not appropriate at his age.

if it's from hollister, they intend for people to take it in a sexual way. so there's nothing to "misinterpret". and should a 14 year old be wearing it? no, neither should anyone.

I think it's fine. I suppose you could work a sexual connotation into it, but you'd have to try. Most people will connect it with sports.
