Of course they are.Why do you think the world hates them. Why do you think we hate them. When we get bombed,I feel for the people who lose their lives.I really do.But the one thing that we as americans must realize,it's not a personal attack against americans. It's an attack against our govt. And many attacks against our govt come from our own people. So yes, they are terrorist. And I get more pissed off every second they leave our troops in harms way for no other reason then their very own.I get pissed off when we have to pay taxes to keep them dealing in their terrorist ways.I love america. But,God,I hate the members of our govt. The dishonest bastards!

Due to the fact that the USA is the most powerful nation on the planet that makes us the "police force" for the whole earth. If we had not attacted Afganistan and Iraq after 9-11-2001 our men and women in uniform would be fighting on homeland soil rather than in the Middle East.

We are mounting a uniform military action to free people not control them. If you think we are wrong then you need to look at Somalia or Iraq under Saddam. Sounds like you are the victim of the disinformation of the liberals. Look at the facts and do not forget it is better to take on those terrorist there than wait for them to hit here.

Nope, you just don't realize it because our troops keep the fighting over there. If not, your daddy and your brother would have to take up arms here to keep you protected here in the U.S. (speaking metaphorically). Basically our troops are fighting for our freedom. Our freedom to live without fear of war here in our own land.
Remember, we didn't start this whole thing. The terrorists have been attacking our interests overseas for many decades, but when they brought their wrecking crew here to our soil we had to defend our people.
Hope this helps a little.

Once we start to specifically target civilians, and to do it for its capacity to generate terror, then we are terrorists.

Last time I checked we had not beheaded anyone on television. We have not tortured a female Iraqi reporter with power drills prior to hacking her to death. We are not planting car bombs in busy markets, we are not sending suicide bombers into mosques. When we start doing these things, then we are the terrorists.

Check this link out, it will certainly make you ask a few questions. It is 1 hour 21 minutes long, but is well worth watching. The quality is not to good either, but it makes it's point.

No.

I feel that misinformed people like yourself who side with murderers and believe other countries do not have the right to freedom are the real terrorists.

Nope ... your definition pretty much says it all ....

who would the "more powerful opponent" be?

You should stop listening to the rederic and start thinking for yourself.
