There are mediators, (who are sometimes attorneys). These people will work with a divorcing couple, to achieve as amicable a divorce as possible. This may also be the least expensive way to end a marriage. Look in your yellow pages or on-line in your area for folks who are divorce mediators, or collaborative divorce attorneys.

we used the same atty. that way it is not a battle. work it out before hand. we had children also. so naturaly the house hold need not be split up as we rented.....it can be so easy if the two of you just sit down and and have this all figuared out before hand.....i have sat and thought how stupid it is to fight in a divorce, when it can be so simple...but then people trend just get nasty........if you all would just sit down with one atty. things would go better,......

Never get married. Divorce is not easy, ever for anyone. If you can agree on the kids, house, etc. before you go to the judge it helps, though.

Agree to split everything 50/50. What you bring into the marriage you take with you and same with your spouse. Anything you cant decide on you draw straws for.

Grow up and set a good example to children if any that are involved. Then move on and get a happier life.

Move far away, file for a divorce and have your lawyer communicate between you and your husband.
