I think eBay is a little of both.
It started as a place with garage sale items but has gradually become a place where vender's are starting to take over. The smaller guy with a garage sale item he wants to sell is disappearing and it is getting "commercialized".
A lot of the original charm is gone but it still is a great place to find something at a good price.

I see it as an online mall with flea market prices...best of both worlds!!

Right now, I'd say its a flea market. However, I can see it slowly becoming more of an Amazon type Mall site.

combination of both, i think it's a best place to shop but you better have experience on online shopping

It is a hit a miss thing..sometimes I get new stuff sometimes it is used...I say both
