I was on the patch for a few months. I did not gain weight, however it was annoying to have this sticker on me constsantly.

You realize the patch has been having bad side effects... its been all over the news? I used it for like a year and a half. I didnt have weight gain problems, but did make me feel depressed. It has a lot more hormones then some of the other birth controls. Its nice cause you dont worry like the ad says, just be careful.

Just like other birth control, it may affect you in that way. I think most of it has to do with water weight and appetite. I actually lost weight on the patch because it made me sick the first time I put it on after a period...but it all depends. Its not likely a thing of concern.

No...I have been using the patch for 3 years, and did not have any weight gain problems at all. I recommend it...very easy to use, and effective!

I gained weight being on the patch. But that was because I had gotten pregnant

Haven't you seen the commercial on the patch? There is a law suit going on due to the side effects of the patch...I would get off of it ASAP!

I tried the patch, but it didn't agree with my skin, I got really red and my skin started to peel where I wore the patch, so of course I stopped before any other symtoms appeared.

no it does not cause you to gain weight..but make sure you check all the side affects of it..the FDA just gave out a new warning recently about the patch...so make sure you ask the doctor everything about it.....

did you not see the news flash about a month ago. telling women not to use the patch, cuz it give out to much estrogen in to short of a time frame and is causing stokes and heart attacks

Depends what you take.In some cases the bad side effect is weight gain but in most cases no not really
