I recently discovered that I have a virus called bloodhound.W32.EP on my computer. I'm not exactly sure what it does, but I've been noticing that my computer has been very slow and my internet was down for a long time. This is the first time I have been able to get online without my computer freezing for quite some time now. Please help?!

Get Avast anti-virust-- avast.com. It works, it updates daily. Download it and do a scan. After that it isn't so important to do a system scan since it is real-time scanning of everything coming in to your computer. You can also scan individual files (right-click menu), say something you are sending someone.

Try removing it with one of the free antivirus programs like AVG and AntiVir. Or you can do a free online virus scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com.

Hope that helps.
