It seems about 10 percent of the people in Iraq would very much agree with you as it will enhance their position to undermine the will of the 90% of Iraqis who just want peace and a stable country (which oddly is what the UK and the US want as well). UK and USA do not promote killing of innocent civilians. Weak ideaogues however, tend to use these methods to achieve their own particular political goals which is mainly the control of resources and power. The kind of control UK and USA want is not to control the resources but to control the stability so that the resources are available in the world market to serve all mankind and importantly to return a fair profit to the people of the nation who owns the resource. (Witness the rapid rise of Germany and Japan as trading powers after WWII - the were NOT puppets of the USA or other Allies. They and their people thrived in competiion with the USA and the world. In most cases involving terrorism, it is the weak idealogues (ie: Islamic Jihadists) who want to wrest control of the resources and the power to further their "cause". Terrorism (killing innocent people to create fear) is their tool to destabilize legitimate governments. Sometimes, a government actually evolves thorough internal terror to a point it can rule internally by terror and internationally through support of terror organizations without nationality. When a "legitimate" nation reaches this stage, it is a matter of security for the whole world to take steps to neutralize the threat. Hitler was an excellent example of this kind of international terror in the 1930's and nobody stepped up to do anything about it until it was nearly too late. Islamic Jihad is not under a single nation, so it will is much harder to battle. The paradigm of national boundaries is not applicable to such a network of organizations with the stated goal of Jihad. This is quite a challenge as wars are normally faught within the context of national boudaries.

Hehe, Britishers :P Us British, and the Americans, dont commit terrorism. Our governments do perhaps, but then again we've been doin this for hundreds of years. Why is everyone so shocked that we fought a war for oil? All the old empires were doing this for hundreds of years, its just old empires in new clothes..

They oppose the terrorism wth inadequate "measures",the wars and conflicts are not a way to settle down anything.( I mean the policy of USA and United Kingdom). Unfortunately, they want to prevail over the other nations, and to dominate..That's not fair, but that's the reality..

Are the US and Britain kidnapping innocent civillians, exploiting them on TV, and then executing them for all to see?
