I work with a lot of illegals .They don't want to become legal or American citizens . they tell me they just want to come here and work for a while to make some money and go back home . I think the border should have been reinforced years ago . It should not be up to the U.S. to provide jobs to the Mexicans . I thought that was the reason the U.S. companies went to Mexico .Cheap labor .If the Mexicans are coming here to work who is working in the factories that moved there?

To what immigration deal are you referring? The US Senate and House of Representatives are still trying to work out a compromise that they can pass into law; but it looks unlikely that anything will be resolved before the end of this year's Congressional session.
Personally, I am concerned about illegal immigration. I want the US' borders closed and immigration regulated. Illegal immigration already poses a threat to public health in the US; diseases like tuberculosis are on the rise as a result of illegal immigration from the Third World. Illegal immigration also has the potential to become a serious security threat.
Here is my 2 cents' worth of friendly advice: You should be more concerned about changing the state of things in Mexico, rather than dumping your overpopulation, poverty, and lack-of-opportunity problems on the USA. Mexico needs another Benito Juarez who will lead a revolution to end the top-to-bottom corruption that is endemic in your nation. Mexicans work hard to get ahead when they come to the US; if oportunities existed for them to live an honest, productive life in Mexico, the illegal immigration problem would solve itself.

A bad deal. For every Mexican we get, we should give them 25 blacks.

i don't think we should have borders anywhere. and arming hillbillies to keep the Mexicans out is really scary, but then again we let most of then in the army.

I feel that this is something we should be concern about. Whatever the outcome may be you can garantee that it will affect everyone no matter the race or skin color.

If you come here legally, you do not have anything to worry about. Why doesn't anyone ever want to go through the proper procedures to come to America legally?
