Hmm if you are looking to play against a computer of sorts instead of actual real people then I would suggest crazygames.com or addictinggames.com, if you are looking to play against people maybe try games.com. There are several sites out there these are just a few, just do a google search for online chess or online games to play and you will get alot more.

Yahoo Chess is amazingly reliable too. (no, i'm no longer some advertiser for them!) i have never tried MSN chess in the previous.
