If you want the standard French spelling for the girls' name it is your #2 choice.
The accent over the first e is what gives it the "ay" sound and the second e is what makes it feminine.
If you want the boys' name, leave the second e off at the end.
An apostrophe doesn't enter into it at all.
Having said all that, individuals can decide how they want to spell their names regardless of convention. Example: How many different ways have you seen Kathy spelled? Kathy, Kathi, Cathy, Cathie, and so on...

The accent mark is over the last E. This is my daughters middle name.
Unless it's a boys name the it's spelled Rene.

There are no apostrophes.
Renee is for a girl, and Rene for a boy.
I'm not sure about the accent marks. I don't speak or read French.

i do no longer comprehend why, yet a number of those names truly made my suggestions artwork extra stable like Amiya Raenay.. or Avahiana Marie. Avah Marie is truly lovable. Kamille Renee & Camille Renae ..nicely, it basically approximately feels like a mouthful. So Avah Marie. short and straightforward, and particularly candy in case you inquire from me.

it's between the two ees. Rene'e. I've been one for 30 years. it not an apostrophe. it's an accent-te-goo. not sure how that's spelled, but that's how it sounds.
