There is a great book out for Honeymooners. It's also a good book for any age of couples. It's called The Kamasutra.

When not reading a good book, you can:

Go to the beach, get a tan, relax from other activities, swim, build sandcastles, do you surf?

Fly a kite, (beaches are good for that, no trees)

Go hiking, enjoy the outdoors, bring a tent, snacks, etc.

Visit museums, art galleries. Have you ever taken a tour of the Denver mint? Tour a beer brewing facility? A winery?

Go for horseback rides (uuuh after reading you may not want to ride)

Check out missions along the Mexican and California coast?

Visit some famous lighthouses along the Eastern seaboard? Coast Guard can give you a list of lighthouses.

It's the time of year right now when there are a lot of county fairs going on. Go to a fair.

Spend a day or two at a theme park.

Check out the culinary delights of ethnic restaurants.

Take pictures, and more pictures and more pictures.

Take care, have fun, be well, Bless you.

Go to Mexico. It doesn't really matter which part. It's all beautiful. I would check into an all inclusive resort, where everything is paid for. They have lots of activities. you get to go see ancient ruins, little towns that are still pretty primitive. There's scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, sailing, and so much more out there. With the white sand and the water constantly changing from blue to green. The sunsets are amazing, and there's always a party outside at night, with the last of the sun sinking into your skin, and a cool breeze ruffling your hair. There is absolutely nothing like it. The view, the smells, the euphoria of being in your own strip of paradise. Of course, my friend went to Disney World for her honeymoon. She loved it. Another friend went to Aspen. Brr. It should be either a place that you are both in love with, or a plave you've never been, but guarantees to be exciting. Romance is made in your heart not where you are. SO even if you take a week off to stay at home, take the phone off the hook and lock all the doors. You could go out to places within the city, that you've never visited. Play tourist. The advantages of honeymooning at home are endless. Figure you'd spend x amount of dollars on a honeymoon, you could spend half that at home, and still have a phenomonal time. Book table at an exclusive resturaunt. Go out dancing. learn something new. Pick up one of those erotic cook books, Erotic Cuisine by Nikki Jordan, Amanda Rochelle and Dominique Pierre, is a great place to start. You can order at home massages. Afterwards you can massage eachother, using different kinds of scented and flavored oils.
The possibilities are endless. If you already have a destination in mind, and haven't planned anything yet... don't. You'll have the best time if you just go witht he flow. Be spontaneous. That way, you don't screw up any plans and anything unexpected is a bonus.

What about a Murder Mystery Weekend at a bed and breakfast? or a ghost hunt at a haunted hotel? or picking a city that you've both always wanted to go to and spend your time sight seeing and photographing all the interesting places when you're not at the hotel.

There's also camping - a cabin in the woods rather than a camper, pick a place near a beach where you can go swimming or one in the mountains surrounded by nature.

The honeymoon should be a time when its just the two of you, away from family, friends, work, etc where the two of you can just enjoy the start of your married life together.
