Salt and lots of it, you need to disolve a pound [16 ounces] of ordinary table salt in water hot enough to disolve the salt I would do this in a plastic bucket, fill the bucket up to about 4inches from the top. If your fabric is cotton then it should be okay to emmerse in the hot water, any other fabric I would allow the water to cool. Then place your fabric in the salt solution leave for around about two hours or steep overnight. Hey presto !!! colour fast fabric.

You need to put the item into a salt water bath. Put some hot water in a bucket add half a contain of salt..about 1 1/2 cups and let the garment soak overnight. Then launder as usual. Good luck!!

Soak Them In cold salt water for atleast an hour. Then wash In cold water. They should then be safe to wash with other clothes.
