I would have to say the amazing, unshakable spirit of the people. I have never experienced anything like it and it is hard to describe. People in South Africa have an amazing attitude towards most everything...one of my friends said it was called "SA can-do" - I was most impressed with their active involvement in the healing process from the hurt of apartheid...seemed to carry over into everything else...an amazing group of people who have an amazing, contagious spirit...love 'em!
