Chances are he will stay there, but nothing is 100%. There's always a possibility that he may move back into the breech position - just know, that there is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent either.

At 34 weeks the baby still moves a lot. My daughter was a c section at 38 weeks because from 34 weeks on she would be presenting correctly on Monday and breech on Friday.
My son was born at 34 weeks and they did an ultra sound before the induction because the doctor said although he was in the right possition at the office , at 34 weeks he could have moved by the time I got to the hospital ( He hadn't) but the doctor said they are unstable at 34 weeks.

Babies can move position even while you are in labor but most get into position within a few weeks before delivery. Unfortunately my breech baby stayed in that position from 27 weeks until birth at 34 weeks.

Baby's can change positions - even in labour. Best for you & baby to distract yourself & stop worrying about something that you cannot really control. One position that can help it to spend several minutes 3 or 4 times a day on the floor head down & bum up in the air - yes it might look odd but this take gravity away from his bum being tucked into your pelvis &baby is more likely to have the room to move. You could lie on your back on a sloping board (safely & carefully) as well to achieve the same thing. Evidence recommends that your are offered External Cephalic Version (doc strongly massaging baby around to head down under ultrasound with a muscle relaxant) around 36 - 37 weeks. MUCH safer than major abdominal surgery. Talk with your doc - it's your body & your baby & you DO have choices. You can wait until you do into labour & DO NOT let him frighten you with medical speak. He is required to give you benefits & risks of all things & you have the right to ask whatever you need to help you understand. This is your 1st BIRTH - delivery is a medical word & women have been giving birth forever & we celebrate birthdays not the other. Do some reading & find someone you love to share the exciting time with you & help you feel confident about the birth process & your ability to do this without making it a medical event. OR at least explaining extra risks IF you need assistance. Best wishes - oh I forgot - a nice deep bath for you & baby & you massage him & visualise him turning head down when you are most relaxed can also encourage baby to turn - seriously! "Breech Birth Women Wise" is a book written by Maggie Banks - full of wisdom around birth!

I'm 36 weeks and the his head has been down for about a little over a month. More than likely the baby will stay that way.

It is my understanding that at this point the baby will more than likely stay head down. I guess there always is that chance that the baby could turn at the last minute but I wouldnt worry about. All my kids turned head down and stayed that way. Including a set of twins.

you are 34weeks and it takes 36 to 40 weeks before the birth of of your child so it is possible that your baby will stay in this positon

My sons stayed down and didnt move. But I have heard of peoples babies moving into breech again. But I would think its very unlikely.

I don't see any chances of the baby being breached but then again you never know. Any thing can happen from then and now. I actually had my daughter backwards. I didn't have her on my back simply because she had to be turned anyways. I wouldn't worry. Nature will take it's course.

Once they are down(especially if they are engaged, they should stay in position, from about 36 weeks on.
At 34 weeks, baby will probably stay in position.
Some don't-like my daughter-little stinker-that's what they called her in the hospital.
