many of you have said that we are facing global warming as of now.all i am saying is that after this catastrophe is over,we might just witness another ice age.at least some scientists have said so.

If we continue to contribute to the warming of the oceans, we will suffer another ice age. Global warming's ultimate result will be an ice age. The temperature of our planet relies on the deep sea current that circulates around the globe. In the arctic, the salty water becomes cold and sinks, travels the world, warms up, rises again, bringing warmer weather to otherwise cold regions, and upon reaching the arctic (in Greenland) it sinks again. By the Ice cap receading, the current can no longer reach it to cool enough and the fresh water being released into the ocean dilutes the saltiness and the water no longer sinks to the deep sea. The result is the halting of the deep sea current, and then it can no longer convey warm water to the northern lands, which makes them colder and colder and the ice caps begin to advance further south, creating a new ice age, until something kick starts the deep sea current again.

After the catastrophe caused by global warming, humans will not survive to bother whether an ice age will follow.

Daaaaaaaaaaaa....... Ever hear of Global Warming? I think we're quite safe from slipping into another ice age. Now we may find ourselves in an age without ice. I guess that's what? An ice-less age? Now there's something you might want to concern yourself with.

all these theories are fake.......first theres global warming which i saw in a magazine a picture of artic 100 years ago and a picture of it now....hello some people arent that golabol.....they never had satelites back then and people 100 years ago did not measure the north pole region........now theres another ice age???? some people make these stories up to scare people and make people wanta buy there magazines.....

on the contrary the earth is in a global warming mode. all of the worlds glaciers are slowly discipating.

About very 50,000 years we have one. we are in the middle of that span now. In about 20 to 25,000 years we will have one.
