doesnt everyone agree that the yankees should of beat the phillies at last nights game? they are an all round better team... & they were losing to a bunch of idiots! bret myers is not that good of a pitcher; espicially going up against randy johnson..BASiCLY.. WHAT iM TRYiNG TO SAY iS THAT THE YANKS SH0ULD OF W0N! (this is all coming from a phillies fan lOL)

Yeah if you want to look at stats alone but weird things happen in baseball.I remember last year the Royals swept the Yankees and the Royals had a horrible team.That's why so many people get frustrated with the Yankees.People think they should win every single game with a pay roll like that, and they probably should.I also think that a lot of good teams are too relaxed when a bad team comes into town and then they loose.Sorry...I keep going on and on but its just that I am a Royals fan and even though they are bad I have seen them beat some of the best teams.I guess that's just how baseball works.

Absolutely not! Although the Phillies have been playing terribly as of late, they finally had a really good pitching performance. And yes, Bret Myers is a very good pitcher. Offer him to any team in the league (Yanks included) and they would jump at him. Randy Johnson is NOTthe pitcher he once was, and the Phils finally took advantage of opportunities for a change.
