Only if you are starving then it's understandable if you steal a loaf of bread. Answer is A but it's very close to being B. You should only steal necessity and cheap things. That is why I picked bread. Stealing hunk of meat because you are hungry wouldn't make people pity you so much although there are people who would. I don't.

No , theft is theft, how many people have taken pens home from their workplace, that is stealing. If someone is hungry and has no recourse but to steal from you food, it is still theft. Asking for the pen, more than likely the employer will say take it. Asking for the food, if a person has a good heart and sees someone in need the food will be given. Ask not steal. I don't have a Grey area on that issue.

That's not ok. That's stealing and you break the rules of "heaven and earth". Is better you ask permission to the person before taking anything. If you see money on the floor and you know is not belong to you,you wouldn't mind putting in your pocket huh? That, you can put it in your pocket and use it lol because is your lucky day to find the money! If you watch "the charlie and the chocolate factory",perhaps you know what I'm talking about LOL.
Ok go back to the topic. My good advice is don't take because is stealing.Even if you like that thing, don't take it too,ask permission.

It would depend upon the circumstances. Are you stealing because you're just a kleptomaniac or have little regard for the rules of society? Or are you a single parent who lost their job in a society that takes care of everyone but their own citizens and you have a family to feed?
In either case, it isn't right, but I'd be more lenient with the latter.

yes, if it was between your children going hungry or you stealing a loaf of bread then...STEAL the loaf of bread. There comes a point when you have no choice but, to take things that aren't yours. You have every right to protect yourself and your offspring. That's a law of nature. So what if you're breaking man's law.

well i have to say it depends on ur look on life, if u have very good moral standards then stealing is not ok, but if u were brought up in a society where people steal to survive then u would definetly think that stealing is ok.
but for me stealing is wrong
