phone them up or email them ask them if all is ok with them and that you were worried about them. You thought perhaps they had been in accident or something since you did not get picked up and when they reply they wre ok you mention that may not need the carpool anymore because you maybe fired for being late.
Guilt - it's evil but is good pay back if you wanna be mean

Put something stinky under the car seat when you get out. Stinky cheese, sardine, etc. They will go crazy trying to find the source of the smell.

next time you car pool on a friday why don't you play with the clock a little set it ahead about 30 minutes. call him when he should be in route t get you and... act pissed that he is late again... when he gets there don't be there.call and tell him your on your way... ask him why he's so early...hey monday mornigs are confusing enough

i would let the air out of all 4 tires or u be in charge of the car pool and stand that person up...and eye for an eye.
