I am with you. I have posed several questions of this nature over the past two, three days and what you get is a deafening silence from those that wish to justify this dangerous man, that holds the most important job in the world. I think you know the answer, N.Korea might just retaliate and the recent memory of Vietnam would have told the Hawks in his administration that these guys will not just roll over and die. I think they are learning from the Iraqi experience.

I can't understand why Iraq was even a priorty - I thought we were out to hunt Osama Bin Laden and his colleagues. Did the US REALLY complete the job it started in Afghanistan? Oh and don't forget the American Armed forces who are still in the Balkans (yep many are still there). For years now, North Korea has been a threat and that threat keeps rising. Why the US hasn't looked at North Korea as a priorty and took pre-emptive measures against the sick government of Kim Jong Il is beyond me. Do you think it may have something to do with the fact that if we were to stick our nose there we'd get it wacked but good?? Iraq seemed like easy pickens.

I think the Bush administration thought Iraq would be a much easier war. North Korea is much more sophiticated and now we have a missle pointed at our a**es. Hopefully China will get pi**ed off at N Korea and help us out. Hopefully...

Ah Don.... back again with half witted questions and miss-information. You do recall of course that in '98 while Clinton was in office NK restarted their nuclear weapons and missile program right? Do you recall when they launched a missile over Japan the same year? Unfortunately for Bush, this issue with NK is a hand-me-down from the Clinton administration. I too would have liked to have seen more pressure from the Bush administration over their activities, but don't be so naive as to think this is his legacy, he inherited it.

Absolutely. And I don't think he cared about avenging his daddy so much as doing what Dick Cheney and his pals at the Project for a New American Century wanted: in short, oil.

North Korea is like a child trying to get attention and the more you ignore it, the more drastic its attention-getting activities will be.

I think Bush's Priorities have been set since before he became president and Korea is really not on that list. The one's who will eventually suffer is us, the people, while Bush is safely in his bunker.

You propose basically act like a jack-a** and 2nd wager each and every determination of the present president. he's to lots of a guy, he will flow away that habit to Carter. Btw, isn't approximately time for Carter to certify yet another dictators "election"?
