Don't use vinegar, it will ruin your marble. If you use any cleaning product check the label first, most products are not for marble but can be used on glass. Try using a damp rag and some baking soda with elbow grease. Check a soft scrub product label and use it if it's OK for marble. Rinse thoroghly. Many marks and stains can be removed from marble with baking soda. If it is a deep one, wet and pile up dry soda, remove wen completly dry. To prevent stains from returning, treat your dry marble with with WD40 spray or use a thin coat of kerosine or lamp oil on a cloth. This will save you a lot of work in the future. :)

WalMart sells a steamer that you clean with. It works WONDERS on marble floors. It should work on the soap scum also. Best thing about the Scunci steamer is, it is cleaning with water converted to steam so you don't have to worry about ruining anything with cleaners that could stain, scratch or discolor! (Oh, it is under 40.00 and is better than buying different cleaners for your entire house weekly!)

glass and marble Windex will take off soap scum, if that doesn't work try using a small amount of shampoo, just make sure you dry it with a dry towel when you are finished.

You get a Craftsman power disc sander and put on a very abrasive, coarse sanding disc. I guarantee it will get rid of the soap scum and any other spots you might have.
