Everyone is saying Argentina, but lets not forget they havent played anyone that is really good yet... Ivory Coast were freaked out by playing in the World Cup for the very first time and Serbia & Montenegro were just not up to standard. Will they perform against the likes of Engalnd, Brazil, Germany?

being english i should say england, but the team that has impressed me this year so far has been Ghana they have played their hearts out every game and you can see they are committed as a team..

Argentina has by far been the best team. Very star quality. Other teams who have been favored to win the cup have been slow to gain momentum. Either they have tied or scored in the last 8 min to go on and win. Another surprising team is Ecuador. I look forward to seeing them play Germany today. That would be a great upset.

I would love to be patriotic and say england. However they are one of those guilty of curing insomnia at the moment. And I also will include Brazil in that one too.
The best to watch are arguably the dutch and the spanish,but for total football it really had to be the argies 6-0 spanking of the serbs.
Dont rule us out tho, the teams that will realistically win it are the ones who wont set off at warp speed then run out of gas by the qf's. So if that stays true we should be right up there as we havent exactly over-exerted ourselves yet.

After two rounds of games Argentina have looked head and shoulders above anyone else in the tournament and provided they haven't peaked too soon I just can't see anyone else standing a chance.

Argentina have looked the best so far, but have been really impressed by USA actually. They've come a long way!
