Its probably the faithful Bush minority standing up to be counted, and as noted in the thread it is a minority most sane Americans have realised that his home policy is biased white-American,while his foreign policy is too gung-ho and money driven.
A lot of people are in the same position as here in the U.K, not satisfied with the leader but unable to vote for anyone who can make a difference.
Bush supporters cite Sept 11 as a reason to have Bush but cant understand when pointed out that he and his policies are the reason it happened in the first place, and the reason so many brave men and women are dying for a cause they dont even understand as it has gone far beyond a war on terror.
As for Pizzaguys`answer is he on drugs?,the question was about Bush and he took it as an insult on Americans, wake up you fool, the asker is obviously not American but you are so ignorant you apply the American lib/dem argument then make stuipd statements about communism at college.YOU single-handedly answered the question you need to get a grip on reality you egotistical, xenophobic moron.
Even sunshine at the bottom cant put together a sensible post but just adds fuel to the question with a pathetic, un-aimed insult

I don't blame them. Here in the UK it has become the 'fashion' to knock America and Bush. I find this strange because we have always loved anything American. We like the food, the language, the music, the movies, Disney, 'Friends', 'Star Trek', the clothes and technoloy (especially AppleMacs). We have nothing in common with the rest of Europe really. Imagine if we were forced to watch French or Spanish TV! British never bother to learn another language - we love America really but just won't admit it.
Ask anyone 'if someone was to rule the world would you rather it be the USA or a Muslim country?'
I know what the answer would be.
So, Americans, if anyone from the UK insults your president - just ignore them - they don't really mean it - they are just following a fashionable trend.

For one thing, every non-American who criticizes President Bush should remember they personally live in a country not much better than a toilet. See, I can use this insult because most of them have never seen a toilet, and don't know what a toilet is. They do their business in a river, or they dig a hole and use their hands as toilet paper.
Hey, I've got an idea.... let's all mock the prophet Mohammed! Or is that too techy a subject?

Did it ever occur to you that you might have been brainwashed by the anti-Bush propoganda?
I used to be a liberal. I even voted against Bush. But all you liberals have to say about Bush is the same, first grade, recycled non-logic that the media continues to espouse over and over again. You never research anything you say. You cannot debate. You never cite sources. The only thing you can do is plant labels on people. Insult, insult, insult. Reason is beneath you, isn't it?
I guess I outgrew you.
By the way, why don't you America haters stick to your own country's politics? Answer: because you know your pitiful leaders, sissified military, socialist economy, and lockstep media are causing your countries to be overrun by "immigrants" with bombs under thier burkhas, and you are too afraid to speak out against it. So, you do what every mindless moron does when they are backed into a corner with no winning strategy: Insult Bush.
You know, I used to have respect for other countries. I didn't go around pretending like I understood thier nations even better than the native residents did. I never disrespected our allies, or thier leaders. But you backstabbing hatemongers make me puke. You have got to be ashamed of yourselves, and that is why you do nothing but try to make yourself feel better by attacking someone you do not know and will never meet, and couldn't hold a candle to in terms of in-depth knowledge of international politics, George W Bush.
You know, I don't even like Bush all that much. But if you people are the alternative, I'd rather shove a couple hundred pounds of broken glass inside my urethra than support you. And as I bleed to death in agony, the very last thing I will do is pull the Republican lever and spit on your candidate's name, and die a happy man. That's how much you sicken me.

I guess a lot of it is embarrassment or maybe disappointment because when Bush was first elected (like in the U.K with Blair) we all wanted to believe we would be better off and society would be better, to see the dream ruined & for certain government policies to be completely against our own feelings and logic is hard to swallow.
Bush will always have his supporters, those who cannot see past the government propoganda & even the stupidity of Bush's actions like reading a childrens storybook upsidedown and his speeches will not dampen how much they need to applaud his actions for their own self esteem.
The way he dealt with New Orleans during & after the flooding opened a lot of peoples eyes to the truth but many people cannot let themselves see this because the knowledge that they helped vote this man into the presidency is just too hard for them to stomach, it's too darn disappointing and heartbreaking.

It isn't attacking that idiot that bothers me, it's when all Americans are categorised, like you are doing right now. That's when all Americans will come out fighting. Its a damn great country. The government has just sucked for awhile now. People will eventually get enough of it.
How many Americans have you met? One? Two? A couple of tourists? Give me a break!! Do some travelling out of your realm, see what you learn.

I am an American and I don't know what "techy" is -- is it touchy maybe? Anyway, a lot of US don't like our president so I don't really know where you are coming from on this. His rating is this country is VERY LOW. Did you know that?
