I think it was from the late 70's or early 80's. It's almost like the man was talking not singing, rather hypnotic. I cannot find lyrics that come close anywhere on the net. Sound familiar to anyone? I have wondered for years if it was just some guy at the party talking into the microphone!

I searched and searched for ya, but I'm convinced it really WAS just some guy talking at your party. I hate not finding an answer. :o(

Yea, your question jogs my memory of that 70s hit music whose lyrics is going like this: "all of us, do what you're doing, your smile will convey the mild day". That line save repeating itself, there is not any different lyrics to the music. Catchy music, very catchy music. guess it really is why it turned right into a large hit. :-)
