Iraq was never about WMD.
Our government knew this beforehand and when the people we sent to investigate whether or not they were trying to get yellow cake uranium got back and reported in that there was no evidence to suggest that Saddam was trying to obtain the uranium. This report was conveniently ignored and when the report went public, less than a week later the white house leaked the identity of the wife of the investigator, CIA operative Valory Plame ruining here career.
Bush is not a Conservative he is a Neo Conservative.
Do not confuse the two they are vastly different. Neo Conservatives (neocon) attack and attempt to discredit anyone who spreads truth that undermines the misinformation they are trying to spread. They label anyone who questions their motives as Liberal or anti-American. Neocons do not care about anything that does not help further their own financial interests or keep neocons in power. But all the while they must maintain the image that they are just a good christian conservative looking out for you.
Therefore the only logical reason that we invaded in the first place is to disrupt the supply of oil in order to drive up the price. If you do a little homework, the majority of both Bush and Chaney's assets are in oil. They are getting rich on the blood of our soldiers people.
Wake up people, if your not appalled, your not paying attention!

Because since we got Sadaam and into court for trials against Humanity, and the election of the new goverment there, the American people want our troops home, I think they in the meantime shifted their focus back to Al-Queda (the original reason to begin) and thought to themselves, we better grease somebody's palm to get info on a member of them, to make it look as if the reason we went there, is still their objective, so they killed Al-Zawquir (spelling?) in the air strike, I truly don't think Bin Laden is even in Iraq or has been in some time or ever. I believe our sole reason for being there is for Iraq, to protect their oil interests for our sake, from the insurgents, evidently they state their goverment is not strong enough to fight them, we will be there for years, and the ways things are going, probably in a neighboring country or two.

We're there because we aren't done yet and our fool president can't heed a good warning. I'm of the belief that there were no WMDs to be found in Iraq. Now that Bush bothered to send the troops over and get many killed, we can't just leave. We're in the midst of Operation Iraqi Freedom! Since we're the big brother and all we have to do is go to your country and tell you how to run it, we can't leave until we're done! I am not fond.

To bring the people of Iraq freedom and democracy. And utter chaos and civil war (but lets not talk about that).
Because bin Laden is apparently smarter than the CIA. And, to quote Dubya, bin Laden is not the one who "tried to kill my dad". Hussein was.

It seems to me that 'Regime Change' is very dangerous. What gives us the right to impose our way of government on somebody else? It is arrogance of the highest order. Hussein was a monster. No doubt. But Democracy has it pit-falls as well.
The Romans were big into 'Regime change'. Look what happened to them...!
