On installation quick guide , when Found New Hardware Wizard comes on in Windows XP it gives three steps to install driver, then on step 4 it says to repeat steps 1 thru 3 three more times . on step 3 you click Finish. Don't use the wizard. Use the installation disc that came with your sound card. When you insert the CD into the drive, the installation process should begin all on it's own. If it doesn't, click start, run, browse the CD and look for a file like"install.exe". and run it.

Click on Start- Control panel- Click on Add Hardware to open the wizard. Insert the Drivers CD and then open the Wizard.

Do one thing. Go to add hardware wizard in control pannel and try to install from that. or go to the computer properties and just right click the unknown device and use the update drivers and follow the steps. It will be easy to install your new sound card.

You likely don't need to, probably the system will want to restart, and when it does, it will find new hardware AGAIN, and that is when you will need to repeat the steps.
Also, some of these installation guides are written in ChEnglish (or Chinglish) and are not always accurate. If the device is working, forget what the instructions say. It should all pretty much be Plug and Pray (plug and play) anyway.
